is this a good answer. seems to cover the issue at hand but I am weary of it. http://askubuntu.com/questions/580151/in-ubuntu-14-04-the-newest-google-chrome-window-display-transparent-and-without/586355#586355
@RPiAwesomeness I guess you locked in some gains then, so not a BAD move. Still, not what I would have done. When you have a huge voulme price move like that, whatever institution kept buying even though the price jumped expects 2/3 or more of where they bought overly high to become a fair market price in the next few weeks...
@hbdgaf Yeah. Problem was, I started the game right as they were doing good. I get on the next morning and KAPOOF. They've plummeted & I've lost a ton :P
@AlexClem He's running an EOL version of Ubuntu - thus he's going to lack the ability to install some software. Plus, by forcibly adding an apt source you might cause all sorts of dependency horrors. So, your answer itself isn't invalid, it's the fact that you're providing an answer to a question regarding an EOL version of Ubuntu - thus it's off-topic here and may not actually work because the OP's installation is so old.
yeah, i think i'm ragequitting my job in the next couple of days... it's the time of year when i can hit them back, and it's also the time of year when i know i have my shit paid for 3 years if i just get a minimum wage job to cover things... so it seems like the "right" decision.
@Mateo i watched the new helix episodes, i must say that i DEFINITELY like where it's going.
The one thing I don't like about the Mac builds is that I have to upload them over my pokey 256 Kbps connection. My Windows builds are done on a Windows 2012 server in one of Amazon's datacenters, so uploading them from the build server to the download server will be easy.
