i suspect a recent kernel broke intel 10 gig support on my DIY router
I'm going to need to compile drivers. Its been ages since I've had to compile drivers

@JourneymanGeek Hold my beer... SuSE shipped a kernel that wiped the eeprom on the NIC in 2008.
Had to dig up a NIC of the same type and reflash
