@CristianaNicolae not necessarily to need a install disk or usb- but there is a way to install the os in "oem" mode, which lets them install some drivers if the computer needs it - then sell it, once you get it and turn it on, it should go through a new user setup letting you enter you own username and password - it is a new computer mode

@gansub you are using gdm so you cannot use lightdm at the same time, therefore no process. You can try to do this : sudo service gdm stop && sudo service lightdm restart

To install the .deb file, run the following command on terminal: wget http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/g/gcc-5/libstdc++6_5.3.1-14ubuntu2.1‌​_amd64.deb. The link is for 64-bit ubuntu. If you have a 32-bit instead, replace amd64 by i386 in the link. You can also open the link in the browser, if that is possible.

What the error message tells us, this package `libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:i386` is needed to be installed, but it depends on package `libstdc++6:i386` which should be version 4.1.1 or later, but that cannot be installed (either because 4.1.1 is not available, which is very unlikely, or somehow this package is marked to stick with another version)
same happened with python, python-all, python-all-dev packages

Everything works well, but for some reason, if I access the shared folders with Windows 7, the home folder ecrypts itself.
(Note that I am a very new to Linux)...
