Does anyone know why TVs are not the best monitors? Last I tried (a couple years ago), my 1080p 32in TV (new at the time) did not look great as a monitor. Things didn't scale the best -- everything was so small, and hard to read

@onebree small? I didn't know Ubuntu would scale for TVs

I know that newer LCDs have extremely overset sharpness and contrast, which may look pretty good with movies, but looks terrible with text and computer stuff

@Zacharee1 I was using Windows, but, like, on my monitor the icons are readable and about half an inch in size, But on my TV they just seemed so small and it was hard to read any kind of text

The 48" I have works pretty well with Ubuntu. I've only tried Wireless Display from Windows

I just had to change the image preset to Normal so it didn't have the sharpness and contrast punch

Goosebumps (the 90s series) is under Kids' TV

The only problem with the TW port is fingerprints don't work. I'd have to flash the Note 4 Settings app, set a fingerprint and then reflash the Note 5 app

back to monitors, what is a good way to position it? I noticed that as the messages here scroll up, the flower picture gets a little darker as it reaches the top of the page. I can't tell if I have too much backlight, or if the angle is wrong

well i have a very unusual setup here

i have one main card in my PCIe slot a geforce gtx 750 Ti which supports my main two monitors just fine, then i have a secondary card in an PCI slot which shall support my wacom tablets monitor

both cards are shown in lspci properly running nvidia drivers, not so in the advanced driver tab of software&updates

and i cant set the wacom tablet to show any pisture
