just for reference: what the bot tries to do is get comments that do not include the word spam.... I suspect this might have to do with the fact that SE also attributes value to questions that can generate comments and little downvotes...

If you are to edit a post and then your edit is approved and then you get points for that. If then in about 10 minutes or so you notice another problem in the post which makes it need an edit and you edit it and the edit is approved, do you get another +2 rep points? Just wondering.
