this I learned from looking at deleted questions in meta, if you use question/id and the id points to an answer, then it replace the url with question/qid/string/aid#aid

that's an observation. i just think hard-nuking should be a hard nuke. i found the regex error by accident since i had another tab open and thought - why not refresh and see if i can still see it?

anyway, nothing constructive is coming from talking about it i think. all the people that might need to see it have seen it now. i'll just move along and let the behavior stay or go. thought i should voice that i should voice that i found it counter-intuitive though.
