Haha right? What a strange way for the OP to reason his/her way to that question. I think the discussion about what the hell a plaster is helped bring a lot of early eyes to that question, too haha :p.

Yeah, moving on up!! I've maxed out the last 4 days or so :D.

But unfortunately, most of my ecology questions/answers remain unpopular :p. WHAT KIND OF ECOLOGIST AM I ?!?!

I'm actually really interested to see whose answer (if any) the OP selects on that question. I'm siding with neither haha... :P

@theforestecologist It's not only you. It is sometimes a bit disappointing when you write an answer and nobody seems to recognize it...

@Chris. Yeah I know. It's just when you look at my tag scores, I don't come across as being much of an ecologist haha :p. Really, it's due to the fact that that ecology isn't really the focus here (e.g., see meta.biology.stackexchange.com/a/3517/16866), so those questions/answers typically get less focus than those focused on, for example, genetics or human biology.

@theforestecologist There is also a huge disparity in the attention that different topics get - species identification, for example, tends to attract a lot of interest and up votes, even though those questions are a minority of those asked.

@BrianKrause right -- I'm just glad those are the most fun to answer :)

@theforestecologist Tell me. I am a biochemist by training, so my focus is more on the molecular stuff.
