I happen to have lots of topics I wish to discuss with other game programmers. The problem is that these topics are completely opinion-based, and not question-answer based, and therefore not apt for this site.
However, I find it a bit wasteful to go somewhere else to do this, because I actually ...
I would like to entirely disagree on this:

@blue just note that creating a tag is much more easier.
you just ask a question and if you don't already have enough rep to create a new tag, just ask a user with higher rep to edit your question and add that tag
I think your example might result in too broad questions though.
I've seen plenty of questions closed because people want to know how something was done with comments from people about not having written the program/game.
I was going to make a MMORPG in HTML5 and javascript but I think I'm going to make a singelplayer first after all.. It would be nice to make the game in html5 anyway so the transition to making an mmorpg in future will be smoother.
But I would like the game to be downloadable app which is then i...
About 15 years ago invented some algorithm that's based on animal behavior. I jokey called it the "Algorithm of the 'shitting' hamster". The name just explains the algorithm quite easily: Imagine a hamster would explore your maze and on every field on the map it moves to, it shits. And well, now it stinks there! The hamster of course doesn't like that and always moves next field it can reach that stinks the least.
bahaha, I'll present this in the AI class next year
"I have used, the algorithm of the shitting hamster!"
Does anyone know how to make a camera in unity? Lol, allow me to elaborate :P
Something like in portal... where theres a base to the camera. A camera stem. And then the camera itself. It tried to do something like that and then I tried to make the camera look at the player however it did awkward things to the camera.
I'm a wanna-be indie developer, and I am working on my first flash game. But, before I even start with the code, I want to know this: When determining the title of my game, how can I decide if it is copyrighted or not?
For example, at first I thought about "Into the Void" for the title. When I ...

I am writing a sudoku solver that needs to solve sudokus with size 9x9, 16x16 and 25x25. I'd like to have an int SudokuWidth. And then load a specific testSudoku with the specified size by using something like this:
int sudokuWidth = 9; int[,] currentSudoku = (int[,])typeof(Algoritme).GetField("Sudoku_test_" + sudokuWidth).
But i Don't know how to do this exactly. Any thoughts?
All my source is in Source/* but I have nested groups for organization in the .xcodeproj.

They don't reflect the filesystem structure; you want to make sure you don't use the "create folder reference" option and you don't have the "create groups for added items if needed" (or whatever) options set, I believe.
could not read data from '/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS6.1.sdk/Almo/P4Depot/Projects/ProjectName/blahblahblah after moving the project
why is it looking in Xcode.app suddenly? :(
I moved the project folder, that worked. I renamed the project, that worked except for a few errors in not finding files, so I used the relocate file button. no cookie.
Hi guys, I asked a question like an hour ago, and then had to move. I have read the replies, an agree the thing i am trying to do is gross, but i was just wondering how it would work. Thanks a lot! great community, I can always find help here. Will implement it differently in the final code ;)

I like how multipurpose the arduino is. I have a FEZ Cobra and FEZ Panda II running .NET MF which is awesome. But there isn't half the support that Arduino has.
Mostly I'd look at arduino tutorials and then adapt them to my FEZ device.
@CodeAssassin Make the harddisk of the website server a network drive, edit some critical stuff, and hit save 4:59 PM Friday afternoon. THAT is how hardcore people roll :D
Quick Question: I am implementing Dijkstra's Algorithm in C# XNA and one of the steps are "Set Distance To Infinity". So... how should I do that. Just give it a value like 1000?
@CodeAssassin also if you can't make any assumption about maximum distance, you can allocate some extra memory and store infinity check inside that extra variable.
