OMFG!! My nephew went over to his friends house after school and got his frigging tongue pierced by his friend's cousin. OMG. My sister and brother in law are going to FREAK!!! Oh my. Maybe I will stay here longer purely for entertainment purposes :P
Yeah, that's what Himarm said, but I really would prefer to watch on my big screen. He said that I can get it through my play station and watch on my tv
Alright guys, all I remember was a scene from the movie. Get ready for the most vague description ever..
So there is the main character and he is in some kind of house/casino/something, and there are a bunch of people he is friends with in the same area.
Then an Asian hitman/badguy driving a ve...
What is the name of the documentary about a singer from Detroit, who sold very few records in the US but unbeknownst him, he was a big success in South Africa. In South Africa he was assumed to be dead, and the documentary is focused on finding out how he supposedly died. (spoiler: it then transp...
Does anyone know the movie about a concert pianist and her supportive Father? I think it was her Dad anyway... I think it had something to do with the iron curtain too. I have googled and been doing everything to try and remember... It wasn't a classic either. I think it was made in the last ten ...
I really love Lucius Fox, which makes me to raise this question.
Will we ever be seeing Lucius Fox in Batman movies especially in Justice League?. In Batman vs Superman I did not hear a word which sounds like "Lucius Fox" :). And Alfred is messing around with Batman gears(toys).
Is this the end...
In Batman vs Superman - Dawn of Justice movie, Batman/Bruce is having nightmares. I do not understand that, what are those nightmares all about?
Who is this guy?
@AnkitSharma Yeah, I might get ambitious in the next few days. I will just need to think how to tie them all together. I need a clear head, which I haven't had in a while ;)
Well, it's actually my favorite movie of his because I was so blown away by the ending. Unbreakable is also a favorite of mine. You might like that one. It's theme is superheroes. It's really interesting.
It yet showing them themselves is there a correct and we have to start Teresa Jinee of knowing ourselves test yes and knowing your partner and then if you know what you want speaking he can't mother day radiate that out like the movie know what does a woman wants yes flashlight what do women wa...
@AnkitSharma Have you seen Ghost Rider with Nicholas Cage? I didn't know it was based on a Marvel character. I just watched it a few hours ago with my sister.
Ghost Rider is the name of several fictional supernatural antiheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Marvel had previously used the name for a Western character whose name was later changed to Phantom Rider.
The first supernatural Ghost Rider is stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze, who, in order to save the life of his father, agreed to give his soul to "Satan" (later revealed to be an arch-demon named Mephisto). At night and when around evil, Blaze finds his flesh consumed by hellfire, causing his head to become a flaming skull. He rides a fiery motorcycle and wields...
But WB have all rights fro all DC property. Marvel don't have full rights, Sony have Spider-man and related property, Fox has X-men and Fantastic four and related property. And universal have Hulk's right ( and maybe Namor not sure)
@steelerfan In the 90's, Marvel avoided bankruptcy by selling the live-action rights to a lot of their characters. Over time, enough characters have came back into Marvel's control (a lot of these contracts state you must be using the IP in order t0 keep hold of it) for them to start making their own films.
@steelerfan I would imagine that Stan Lee sees a lot of royalties, but his actual involvement with the creation of a lot of these characters is dubious.
Some claim that he simply took credit for the work of Jack Kirby.
Ha. Originally, Cap's time "on ice" on lasted around 20 years. Over time, that number has to keep growing; in the films, he was frozen for just under 70.
@steelerfan Oh c'mon, he's a SciFi person, too. As much as it hurts to admit, but I doubt you'll find any serious Doctor Who person who wants it asked here more than there.
@steelerfan Seriously? You made it sound like he's a totally shy nerd/artist. But everytime you talk about him he's either banging older girls, smoking pot or getting his tongue pierced.
@NapoleonWilson He is a shy nerd/artist. I don't know what has gotten into that kid lately. I'm just worried about the frigging thing getting infected. When his father finds out, it will be coming out anyways ;)
@NapoleonWilson Well, I don't want to narrow it down to just The Village. It's going to take me a while to think about. I'm still waiting for a lot of things, too ;)
The Ascension of Jesus (anglicized from the Vulgate Latin Acts 1:9-11 section title: Ascensio Iesu) is the Christian teaching found in the New Testament that the resurrected Jesus was taken up to Heaven in his resurrected body, in the presence of eleven of his apostles, occurring 40 days after the resurrection. In the biblical narrative, an angel tells the watching disciples that Jesus' second coming will take place in the same manner as his ascension.
The canonical gospels include two brief descriptions of the ascension of Jesus in Luke 24:50-53 and Mark 16:19. A more detailed account of Jesus...
Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, though it is also celebrated widely on other days by many other countries.
== International history and traditions ==
Father's Day was inaugurated in the United States in the early 20th century to complement Mother's Day in celebrating fathers and male parenting.
=== First observance ===
Grace Golden Clayton may have been inspired by Anna Jarvis' work to establish Mother's Day; two months prior, Jarv...
Its old movie <1990's (not sure), may be China movie. So here is the simple guy who learn fighting/karate by drawing a sketch of a other guy (bad guy) fighting techniques. The bad guy fight like a Scorpion. The bad guy work for Bad Group and protect his boss and obey orders. I think the bad guy's...
Where exactly was Trystane Martell, the Dornish prince (son of the Prince of Dorne, Doran Martell) murdered? Where was his boat at the time? Was it in the city of Sunspear, capital of Dorne, or Blackwater Bay, the harbor of King's Landing?
@steelerfan For example all the X-men stuff belongs to FOX and Spiderman belongs to Sony (though recent deals allow him to appear in the MCU). That's why for example the Avengers have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver but can't call them mutants and the X-men have Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver too but can't say they're Avengers. It's complete bullshit.
@steelerfan Well, it would be very late anyway, like around 5 or 6 (20-21 PST).
@AnkitSharma So it's only when he stops showing his private parts that it becomes unacceptable for The Screening Room? That's a strange rule, but I guess we have to obey.
Start posting naked pictures of Sam Elliot, everyone.
@steelerfan I love the first season a lot. I really like the second episode, with Cassandra, and you've got a fair few great episodes to look forward too. I think you get your first Moffat episode (a two-parter set in the World War Two) next!
@steelerfan Meh, I don't know. They still don't have Run to You for whatever reason and my Summer of '69 isn't the best (though, last time it was no total disaster at least). I can't really promise Bryan Adams. :'(
Since I have vacation the next day, Takin' Care of Business is rather mandatory, but at least that always works really good. The rest I still have to come up with. But since it'll be a rather long evening and I'll sing a few things, I'm sure there will be some things along your taste.
Saw this in mid 70's. Might have been a slight ripoff of, or at least influenced by, Jeremiah Johnson. Was not that movie, however. I remember seeing it in a theatre, but I was probably < 10yrs old.
This question would make more sense to the book readers, and for the TV show watchers, this might contain possible spoilers so proceed on your own risk.
We have been hearing about the Three-Eyed Raven in Game of Thrones since Bran met Jojen and Meera Reed and they set out to find him and eventu...
As far as we know, no one (except Zoom) knows the identity of the masked man, even if many characters spent time in the prison with him.
He can't talk, agreed. Yet he can hear and see, and can make noise by hitting the glass and make signs with his hand. It shouldn't be difficult to communicate...
Bit of an odd question, but just wondering, does anyone know which film these two stills are from, or can you recognise any of the actors?
Huge thanks In advance!
Let's try something else. Amidst all the doom and gloom here in meta, I'd like to point out the few rays of hope for this site:
We have users who care passionately about the topic and know a lot about it.
There's a lot of activity in meta, particularly for a young site. I don't have numbers ...
So i cant remember the name, I kind of remember this movie or maybe an episode where two scientists where working on an experiment with computers/tech where they could bring people back from the dead. The first experiment fails, Then later on one of the scientist was with his wife/GF and they get...
I read this post of the user vedicd. The question he tired to raise was valid, but his approach was probably wrong. If he knew the answers were wrong, then he should have posted the correct answer there. Nevertheless, I feel the point he was trying to raise regarding the overall status of the sit...
In Men In Black, Agent K recruits Agent J. However, in Men In Black 3, K was killed by Boris in the past, and next morning, J was still a part of MIB.
How can it be possible? K recruited J and K was killed (obviously before he recruited J).
Am I missing something here?
That would entail me going and trying to get out of bed to get my visa card. I would have to ask my sister to bring it to me. Her first question would be what am I buying on line. Hilarity would ensue when I told her :P
...and then she would want me to search Sam Elliott and Michael Biehn ;)
OMG. mrman.com Says that there's a nude VIDEO of Hiddleston!!!!
@KutuluMike Yes. Is this cateres to gay men? It's keeps making comments like "Tom's Hiddlestick will make you get a high rise" and it's showing gay porn stuff everywhere.
I know, but it's all about that. Like the headlines for the pictures and stuff. There's nothing catering to a woman. I swear that you gave me a gay man site!! Haha!
Uhm, the caption "Jake Gyllenhaal will get you hard" is not tailored for a woman ;)
I remember seeing this movie in the 90s but it may be a decade or two older.
This man is punished for some reason by being tattooed (possibly by himself) with letters/words until his entire body becomes covered. At that point I remember he somehow becomes invisible.
No, there are currently no animated shows that are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel identifies the majority of their thousands of canon universes by giving them an "universe number". These are referred to occasionally in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and the Jeff Chr...
@deostroll From what I have heard, both of those characters will appear in Season 3.
ah.
I see that question has been closed as a duplicate of an entirely differnet question.
In the movie Safety Not Guaranteed, Kenneth's ad was (emphasis mine):
"Wanted: Somebody to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. I have only done this once before. Safety not guaranteed."
Was there any indication or ...
The only scene I remember is the one in which a child (I think it was a girl) is practicing for some kind of acting class or school play, has to learn how to cry on purpose and succeeds only when she imagines that something bad happened to the person (mum, dad, I really can't remember) who is the...
