Q: Identify any movie with the same morale

XaqronThe movie itself was old. It was about the human greed, exploitation and capacity. In feudal society of Europe, some landholders had a gambling program. The deal was: a chosen worker was allowed to mark land, as much as he can, from sunrise to sunset, and he would be the owner (I don't remember ...

I think Character-motivation and character-analysis should be synonym of character

Q: School boy's love story which doesn't have happy ending

Ankit SharmaI remember watching a movie where a school boy (may be around 13 year old) fall in love with a girl or similar age. Boy tries to charm her in many ways. In the middle of story they also became good friends, they are in some kind of karate classes too. Girl is good in karate and teaches the boy to...

@AnkitSharma It's iffy. Character can refer to a question asking about a character's traits or a series of events pertaining to only them. Character analysis can mean determining the origins of a character, motivation symbolism, etc. IN this case, analysis and motivation could be good synonyms, but I'm not sold on Character being merged in that as well.

@TylerShads I also though to post a meta question on that but later i got to know that i can already have the power of tag-synonym suggestion . So i have done that.
But in the absence of response i posted my request on chat too.
@TylerShads I still feels that character-motivation and character-analysis are like sub parts of character tag. Lets see what all think through your meta post.

Q: Identify this old movie

XaqronThe movie was old and about a family who were living in a coastal village (probably Italy). The traditional occupation of villagers was fishing. There were masters who owned boats and workers. Business cycle was working in warm seasons, and keep fishes in salt for cold seasons were the prices was...

@iandotkelly Some of us are working.

@Donald.McLean - ahh

psh quiet
overrated

But then I'm more of a replyer then a conversation starter.

Me too
That's why I answer questions than asking them

what is the square root of -i

10:20 PM
@TylerShads I'm pretty sure it's complex.

ahahaha

Google rocks: 0.707106781 - 0.707106781 i

wow

fine

i wonder if google understands engineers - who call it j rather than i

10:22 PM
then what is the final digit of pi?

no such thing

I'm pretty sure that sqrt(2)/2 - sqrt(2)/2 i

why do engineers call it j?

because i = current

10:22 PM
and complex numbers are often used in electrical engineering
where v = voltage or potential, i = current
so it would be confusing to use i
why is i = current
I have no idea

easy answe ris what does 'c' stand for?

i = electrical intensity

@TylerShads The speed of light, is one meaning of 'c'.

c = speed of light

then thats why c =/= current
and we'll just assume r, e, n ,t are all taken as well
next logical choice is i obv

10:25 PM
r = resistance
so v = i.r is ohms law

either that or some latin thingy like the periodic table

so why were you asking about the sqrt(-i)?

because i felt like being random?

ahh
interesting snippet - the Python language also uses j for the imaginary number
Clearly written by electrical engineers
I've been reading wikipedia..... I am not quite that knowledgable or sad

join the club

10:34 PM
Though since I was at one time an electrical engineer, I am vaguely aware how j is useful

11:00 PM
@iandotkelly I've been avoiding Python. I have trouble with dynamic and scripting languages.
