@whuber I'm seeing a different favicon for you in chat than on the main site! I don't think I've noticed that happen to anyone before.

@whuber Well, predictably the poster confirmed what you knew all along was the case on this question, which I underestimated as being more basic. I corrected radically my answer - a true Buddhist mandala of colors and patience. I'm ready to blow it into oblivion though... But please take a look. I think it has a good chance of being correct.

@AntoniParellada Truly a labor of love ... (+1).

@amoeba (cc @Glen_b, @whuber): I think you could argue that "permutation test" is the unmarked term, with "randomization test" emphasizing either that the distribution of the test statistic is estimated by simulation rather than calculated exhaustively or that inference follows from the random assignment of treatments rather than from supposed sampling from a population.

So for the practical purposes of tagging "randomization test" could therefore serve as a synonym for permutation test.

Hey guys! I am trying to generate a confusion matrix from my predicted model. It gives an error, list indices must be integers, not tuple. However, the classifier works well.

I am using scikit-learn. Can somebody pls help me?

Hi @tourist: probably best to post with a reproducible example on Stack Overflow.

@hxd1011 Congratulations on passing 2k, now you can edit everything!

@Silverfish It looks like chat is having problems with the avatar icons. At first it couldn't produce one for me at all and now it's displaying somebody else's... . The icons on the main site seem fine.

@amoeba Thanks!. I am happy that I could contribute more.

Just saw someone insinuate that a question was closed because the closing parties had "commercial interests," which is possibly the most insane thing I've seen on the internet today. (And I read news about Trump for fun.)
