@MatthewDrury I have the horrible feeling that the "Beta for standardized coefficients" thing might have happened because someone (probably a psychologist - they seem very keen on this terminology) saw an estimated regression equation with lots of "b's" in it, thought "wouldn't it be nice to standardize them - but the letter b seems to be taken, so let's call it beta"
