@Silverfish I agree 100%; many of the best Q/As (by my own quirky standards) come quite a way down that list

@glen_b Indeed, your point about people going mad for some "easier to trend" topics like facebook is also borne out! Have a great weekend folks.

@Andy If you looks at the top users by reputation (who tend to be top users because they're active, but I'm not going to take out inactive ones for this discussion - I doubt there's a bias toward or away from any place in any case) and chase down where they're from where I can, then for the first page it's roughly: US: 1/3, Eur/UK/Russia: 1/3, Aus/NZ: 1/6, Other+Unknown: 1/6
Looks like there's a fairly similar distribution on the next page - relatively more europe perhaps, fewer Aus/NZ

If you look at new users, you do see quite a few from Asia (e.g. China, India, Pakistan) and the Middle East, and yes, most don't stay long.

hey everyone, I was wondering if meta CV was a good place to ask a question about a firefox browser google login error?

@k6adams Does it only happen on CV? Or does it occur with your other SE-network accounts also? If it's not a CV-only problem you may want to ask somewhere that's not CV-only. If it is CV-only, then meta CV is probably reasonable.
@Andy Given the number of very good statisticians that are in countries like India and China, I hope we get more of the knowledgeable ones here in the near future.
