I have a potential question but I don't know if it's on topic. I'm going to pitch it here first and see what you think:

Is better "branding" essential to the donations to a community?

I'm a member of a fairly large physical community. We're in dire need of donations and we often look to the help of local businesses and citizens to donate to provide essential funding.

One thing that I've been thinking about for a while is the branding of the organization. The organization lacks a "branding guidelines" type document that would outline the basic styling of official documents, newsletters, and other printed items.

I feel like this question is applicable to many physical communities, but it doesn't seem in the spirit of our site (it's extremely business focused, which is not really common on our site).
