Yoo-hooooooo......... :)

11:12 AM
@Cindy hehe, good to meet you again!

11:24 AM
@Stephie Hi @Stephie! I've been popping in, just haven't felt much like talking. The last few weeks just about pushed me over the edge with this job. I turned in my resignation last Monday.

Awwww! As contradictory as it may sound, but: Congratulations!
From what you told us (and it was probably only the tip of the iceberg), that was a wise move.

Thanks. My stress level is much better. Just wish I had something already lined up.

If one door closes, another one opens up.
Get well first.

Yeah. I'm being optimistic. 😀

So how's Spring in your corner of the world?

11:30 AM
Too much rain and temps like a roller coaster. How about there?

We had almost 20 C one day, snow for a few days after that, today is sunny and warm, forecast says rain again and then full-blown spring with sunshine and again 20 C. Talk about a roller coaster.
My washer finally broke so I've been carrying baskets to my Mom's and back to make good use of today's sun and wind.
And daughter's running a fever since Saturday... At least she's the "crawl into bed and sleep it off" type.

Really! Sorry about the washer. But it's always good to dry laundry outdoors. Miss having a clothesline.
Hope your daughter feels better soon.
So, what's all the news? Did I see that Jay is dating again?

She will. I guess it's a side effect of having friends at school. They hug, play, share gummybears and germs.
@Cindy yes, he's decided to do "casual dating" for a bit. Tall's kind of disappeared and Jojo is looking forward to a visit from her dad. And she's got two new customers with her dog business.
Oh, and rumi got her dream job.

Wow! I have missed a lot. Yay for Rumi and Jojo!

You already knew that Catija is due in August, iirc?

11:39 AM
Yes! I'm very happy for her.

I'm curious whether she will be here more due to sleepless nights or less because of other duties ^_^

Lol. That will depend entirely on the little one.

So far I'm happy to hear that she's been spared from most of the nasty side effects of pregnancies. Good for her!

Yes. I was very lucky in that respect, too. A true blessing!

<no comment>

11:48 AM
Ugh! I feel for anyone who has had to experience them. The only thing I ever had a problem with was that in the last few months I could drink Coke but couldn't drink Pepsi. Pepsi would make me sick. Weird, right? At least there was an easy solution.

Had a detailed knowledge of all restrooms around - first from hugging them, then from those uncountable bathroom breaks. Yuck!
Have to go - laundry timer dinging. See you around!

See you later. :)

Jay
officially moved to NJ

12:45 PM
@Jay Yay! Congratulations!

Jay
1:19 PM
@Cindy Thanks :)
My new place is 100% cleaner and i get my own bathroom! wooo

Jay

Bleh moving to a new state is rough
Updates address everywhere, change drivers licenses, get new registration, get new license plate, new state inspection...
x.x
I only moved 15 miles :/

@Jay Fill me in - what happened with Will?

Jay
@Cindy Oh we broke up like 2 weeks ago
We broke up amicably though. He was becoming really busy and super stressed out with work and he knew it wasn't going to change any time soon. It was straining our relationship because he canceled on me like 3 times in a row
We agreed that it was better to end things on good terms rather than strain things further and end with a sour taste in our mouth.
If it was a temporary thing i wouldn't have minded waiting for him
but its tough for a doctor to change jobs. It takes months and months for such a thing to go through

2:00 PM
@Jay Sorry to hear, but glad it was amicable. :)

Jay
yea it was all good
I'm dating again. But who knows we might potentially meet up again in the future

@Jay You never know. ;) So, do you like your new roommate(s)?

Jay
Yea hes nice
and clean
lol

3 hours later…
4:56 PM
I find it somewhat disconcerting that a person who is planning to start a company making doughnuts for mass production to be solid in stores doesn't know that there are different types of doughnuts... and isn't aware that the difference between a cake doughnut and a "normal" doughnut is the batter, not the cooking method. Do people not research their products before they go into business?
Hey Jefromi!

@Catija I didn't see, are they from the US?
and hi!

1
Q: Keeping Donuts fresh

MikeIs there a way to preserve donuts and sell them in retail packaging, similar to how you would buy chips and cookies at the supermarket. I see Entenmann sells packaged donuts but I'm curious to know how they are able to maintain freshness. Any thoughts

Looks like it. They talk about a US brand.
... of cake doughnuts.

Well, so much for my optimistic maybe they haven't had both kinds theory.

5:12 PM
HA HA.

5:27 PM
@Catija Nope — they just think they'll make a fortune, never realizing it'll cost more to produce than they'll actually be able to sell it for!
( Lucy and Ethel were losing so much money on the endeavor, they made a commercial to get people to cancel orders for the dressing. )

HA HA

6:09 PM
@Catija Good thing they don't take away the populist badge if the scores change!

1 hour later…
7:32 PM
@Jefromi Indeed!
