I agree with Peter Taylor that an "official lexicon" would necessarily have to choose one dialect of English to be authoritative, which doesn't make sense for such a diverse international community. The best thing to do is to clarify tag wikis as needed - including clarifying them by adding tag ...

@ElmerCat, just back from the vet. Bloodworks results shoukd be in tomorrow, for now, he got some general antibiotics and anti-inflammatory shot. Clearly sick, but nothing threatening. Cat is sulking below the kid's bed.

Awww. Poor kitty. Oooh, I got to play with kittens on Saturday! I miss having a cat so much.

@Stephie That's good to know it's nothing serious! — No one likes going to the doctor, and cats like it even less.

My cat never liked car rides. She would meow very loudly every time we had to take her somewhere.

Though, I imagine that if my understanding of a car ride was that, at the end of it someone would shove a cold rod up my butt, I wouldn't like them, either.

Henry dislikes riding in the car, but he really starts vocalizing his objection whenever we go through tunnels.

Show me a cat who likes car rides.... Certainly not mine!

Ah. Weird. Here they are allegedly Chinese and I never bothered to check.

Ok, Wikipedia says from Japan, but also popular in Taiwan and China. The golden one is supposed to bring wealth. That could explain why most Chinese fast food places here have them.
