It strikes me that it has interesting applications for those who today propose to "Run the Government like a Company"
The generous presumption is that anyone who says that knows there are limits to the metaphor past which one should not push, so nobody saying that seriously wants to reorganize their government to work like a Banana Republic.
It would be a good question to get a satisfactory clarification on before voting for said person though.
