This came out of a discussion called2voyage and I had in the comments (now chat) on another question. IMHO basic economics implies that anything with a price (like a public bathhouse) can not have been used regularly (ex 1+ times a week) by the lower classes, and typical historical practice has been to .. er, overdocument the lifestyles of the wealthy.
...but documented facts would be a lot better than suppositions.
Turns out we already had a question (with no accepted answer) on this topic. So it now has a nice juicy bounty on it as well.
I guess the answer may be different for rich people who had their own baths and others who visited the public baths.
