Q: Which texts have you read?

Amit SaxenaI asked a couple of questions on Nyaya and Vaisheshika. I did not receive any answers, I presume because no one on here has read those texts yet. Hence, I ask this question, as I believe it will give everyone an idea on what questions are more likely to be answered and what questions to ask.

The DestroyerThere are many misconceptions that Lord Shiva is Tamasic God and scriptures of Him are Tamasic Scriptures. Some people even suggest not to read His stories as they fall under tamasic puranas. This concept of Tamasic Puranas can be refuted. Shiva Purana clarifies this by saying Shiva as Taamasic ...

Q: What work of Vyasa says the Vedas were taught to Brahma through the heart?

Keshav SrinivasanVidyaranya, aka Madhavacharya (not to be confused with Madhvacharya), was a famous Advaitin philosopher who was the Shankaracharya of Sringeri and the brother of Sayana, the famous commentator on the Vedas. @KeshavSrinivasan How it will be if someone post on meta a discussion encouraging other users to cite sources to some older posts?
we will dig out some old posts whichever we find and post on that thread requesting citation
Main goal of that thread would be to cite sources to that posts instead of deleting. (I know it is better deleting such posts but lets first try to make those posts better)
what do you say?

YogiUrdhwareta is one of the 1000 names given to Lord Shriman Narayana in Vishnu Sahastranaam, which literally means ithyphallic. Same name is given to the Last 24th Avatar of Lord Rudra named Lakulish. Now since Lord Rudra is worshipped as Linga, it may be okay for him to be Urdhwareta but as Shrima...

@Mr_Green Well, that seems like public shaming. It's better to just leave comments on each answer asking them to cite sources, then if they don't do so flag the answer.
