I've been wanting a tag for a long time to include things like this as well as metonymy, euphemism, other sorts of descriptors of literary things. Would literary-device be appropriate? It looks like we have it but it's wildly underutilized.
@Susan The already existing literary-structure tag would be more appropriate (and I've already added it)
@Susan literary-device seems too general to be useful IMO. For non-structure tags like wordplay, idioms, or lexical-relations could be appropriate. (I haven't checked if any of those exist yet)
