If only the Hebrew proposal would succeed! Perhaps we should start asking Hebrew questions at Latin.SE?

A couple bits of Greek New Testament news for Library residents:

(1) Peter Gurry, "The Number of Variants in the Greek New Testament: A Proposed Estimate" (pre-pub).

(2) The Tyndale House Greek New Testament is on its way, published by Crossway.

^^^^ I wonder if there's a ♦ POV on this one? @Caleb @Susan @Soldarnal ? It may well be that @curiousdannii is right, but it seems an odd one to me. And a wee shame that answers have been gathering like moths to the flame. OR is it acceptable to copy/paste (move?) the relevant bit of the answer from the suggested duplicate to this one? Grateful for your thoughts!

@Dɑvïd I think there are two legitimately different questions here, even if the answer to one lead rather directly to answering the other.

I think ideally most of your answer would be moved over to the new question and your previous answer revised
