@Davïd In case you're interested, I ran across DCH's list of לפני = against: Num 16:2; Deut 31:21; Josh 1:5; Esth 9:2; 2 Chr 13:8; 14:9; 20:12. (This while trying to figure out if the "standing in the breach לפני ..." imagery in Eze 22:30 + Ps. 106:23 counted (for the sake of the latter's commentary on Ex 32:10.... still hopping along this rabbit trail) -- apparently not. Though that list is also lacking 1 Chr 14:8, so maybe not intended as comprehensive. Quite a bit more than BDB, anyway!)

Is a rabbit trail the same thing as a rabbit hole? This is an interesting sample.
