@Davïd I just reproduced some of your ideas from a meta post here (and from @Caleb’s comment) for a meta post on the new health.SE site. Sorry, the argument (and the link) were too compelling to pass up. I have a sense that the problem is even more widely relevant at that site (just public as of a few hours ago) than it is here.

@Susan Wow - a fresh site! First port of call for every hypochondriac with access to the internet. :)) You've certainly got into a moderatorial groove! (Like one or two others...)

@Susan :) Should be a really useful SE site, though. Kind of surprised it hasn't happened a long time ago.

@Davïd Me too. I had kind of figured they were actively against it until I ran across it on Area51. There’s sort of an open question there about whether we should be deleting content for being wrong, though, which is totally non-SE-like and not something I’m totally comfortable with. Yet.

@Susan Hmmm -- yeah - can see why that would be a live issue.
