@Davïd Just made a major edit that better answers your question itself, while still keeping the hypothesis intact that I originally advanced (and improving some on that argument, I think). I may hunt sometime to find if anyone else has tried to tie the reference to the Jews of v.15.

@Davïd Indeed. I finished off the closure primarily as an act of mercy toward Caleb, who now doesn’t need to see it. Link’s gone; he’ll never know.

@Susan Aaaaa! Make it stop! My still groggy eyes wish my brain hadn't beet so curious.

@Caleb Oh, and here I thought I was being sneaky. Who knew you could read things that weren’t pinged to you? ;-)
(You do have a «delete» button, by the way.)

@Susan What is the one sure way to get all the people whose chat names are in blue to read something? Clue: the answer is not "ping them".

Just discovering the blue. But I can't figure it out. (Haven't even made it to your question yet. Still working on the blue.) It doesn't exactly correlate with being in the room.
Oh, I'm an idiot. OK, got that part (but why?). Still confused.

@Susan Coffee or Tea?

@PaulVargas Huh?
@Caleb :-P

@Susan Sorry!

@PaulVargas Huh? It's been a confusing morning (or whatever this is). But no, I don't drink coffee or tea....

@Susan Here there is darkness. It is early in the morning. I suspect that you are at work. :-)

6:42 AM
@PaulVargas Actually no, I'm at home. And here is pretty dark too - something most people would call the middle of the night I imagine. Fortunately, there seem to be a fair number of people around SE who don't think it's terribly odd to be awake at any random time on the clock. Yourself included, I guess.

@Susan Yup. I like to read at this time. It is very quiet. And then I come here.

This is the loudest library I think I've ever been in. And I've been in some pretty loud libraries.

@Susan Will it be acceptable if I frame the question as "What are the arguments for and against the documentary hypothesis?"(My main motive behind asking this question was what is the position of the documentary hypothesis in academia. I also requested to refer a book (/books) or website (/websites) which will give me an idea about both sides of the arguments. Also I have seen many apologetic websites claim that documentary hypothesis is "dead".) — Arun 3 hours ago
I’m not sure how else I can say "too broad.” I don’t know the DH stuff well enough to even provide any specific help about forming a good question. If anyone else does, please jump in.

@ScottS Yep, that's a major edit! Thanks for that. Grayston is an interesting case of how the semantic and syntactic issues can interconnect. Grateful for the work you put into that answer.
@Susan Hard to know how to narrow, when as OP notes (more than once) is that he wants a complete primer/orientation to the status of the DH debate in current scholarship. I think he just needs to keep reading -- far more valuable than a Q&A here, and hopefully some of the comment pointers will help.

@Davïd Just added a number of links as well for the evidences.
