@Asmyldof Not really wrong, but what doesn't with a probe in 1x? The noteable point here though is that after wiggling the switch the blue gets significantly worse, both are attached to the same output. Will repeat this with the built in compensation square wave this evening

and additionally I am confused on how the high res mode works, I somehow always assumed it is a kind of sliding average, but it seems to be more complicated since it smoothes out the steps from the phone audio as seen earlier when I reduce the memory depth

anyways, as for the audio, the waveform only starts to clean up if the load is 100Ohm or less
