I'm trying to 'manually' (I.e. from the command line) light up the caps lock light on an external keyboard.

And now that I know a little more, this isn't the site for it :P

Without googling it, I know it's in the USB HID manual

I got this from That One Room: fd=fdopen("/dev/console"); ioctl(fd, 0x4B32, 0x04);

But it doesn't work on OS X.

So my problem has ceased to be an EE problem.
