Basically I was keeping the room alive because I anticipated that when the blog is going to be cancelled, the likelihood that users might have questions about blog could increase.

Which is probably now - the period between announcement and actual cancelling of the blog.

BTW after the blog is changed to the static pages, some stuff might need updating. For example, the tag-info and maybe even some posts on meta.

This is another thing which might be discussed - if needed - in this chat room.

@mixedmath Of course, if you insist that it time to let the room go, I will do so. It just seems to me that this might be exactly the period because of which I kept the room alive.

In fact, as a mod you have even ability to freeze rooms (without waiting for the automated process which happens after 14 days). But as I said, I would prefer to wait until blog is actually shut down.

Maybe I am wrong and the room will actually be of no use. (Maybe nobody will come here to ask what happened with the blog.)

I'll wait and see what you say about it.
