So this chat lives again, and it's for encounter-building tonight. Lots of spoilers for those interested in running H3 - Pyramid of Shadows.

We have 5 level 10 characters that just emerged from a slowly dissolving extraplanar prison they had to destroy in order to escape. The prison is in mid-air and it also held some other prisoners that are now free. Due to looting, the PCs are the last to float down to the ground, where some of the enemies are already wreaking havoc in the town below.

All the inhabitants of the town have escaped, save for some Tiamat cultists that are really happy to see that an adult white dragon in now among them, pillaging the houses in order to gather treasure.

Some undead might also be in the area: a flameskull (who had been spared from the adventurers) and a bunch of people from an unexplored room. I don't think those are interesting and I'd like the encounter with the dragon and the guys from the cult to be the big thing.
