Position was filled.. and then un-filled.. turns out, hiring a good sysadmin is hard!

It probably is, especially for a startup, even when the pay is decent. Not only do you have to figure out who would be the right match for the job, employer competition is likely to suck away your #1 - #5 candidates in no time.
