@Basil They do both. I just ditched Comodo's firewall after updating to the latest version and having it fuck everything up, and suck hard compared to the previous version anyway.

@Basil When I muck with A/V the only brand I've stuck with over the last several years has been Kaspersky. It's a little heavy handed out of the box, but dial it back a bit and don't use their firewall.

Kaspersky is way lighter than Symantec and McAfee once you get it tamed.

@Basil Very lightweight. Running it on my Atom (generation 1) transformer tablet, and don't notice the difference.

@Basil Of the major AV (paid) products, I think Kaspersky's the best too... though it does require some configuration or "taming," as Wesly says.
