I want to make a unique, and interesting interface for my portfolio, but I want it responsive and it'll be much easier if I just go with as simple of a layout as possible

I'm thinking single page with my work @ maybe a link to my blog whenever I actually start writing

ok.. how do you know when to update your work. Is there a rule of thumb or should you try to stick to certain updates monthly? Is there a tolerance of what to add, such as 10 pieces like they suggest in a printed portfolio. When should you update your work?

I haven't updated mine in a year

I generally do it though when I'm about to apply for stuff, or if I feel like I've done a few decent works and just feel like updating it

adding work to it is usually an easy task, it's when I decide to tear it down and rebuild the site itself that it takes me forever
