I'm afraid I'm being biased because I'm all for that question but pretty sure it should be closed. Like so many other questions on here it has nothing to do with design :\ I'll wait to see what you and others think though. My marketing interest makes me want to leave it open hence the bias

It should be in some way discussing QR codes from a design perspective. Not just asking, "Are QR codes useful?" That's like if we allowed a question asking, "Are links useful?"

@Scott I think its an interesting question, with a little rewording I think it could be even stronger towards the design perspective but I think its too late for that or for closing which is why I then answered it myself as well
nah too late now and willing to guess your name and rep went a long way in carrying it. If some new user came in and posted that I'm willing to bet money on a few close votes
concern? nope... people don't understand many things. A lot of the question we get, and the answers to them, can be along the same lines of just missing or being unaware of some basic item.
To you it seems obvious the brush has transparency, but users without as much experience may not even consider that.

Hi, I am designing my own website with HTML, however I am not a professional web designer. Is there any web site which suggests good color combinations which I can use in my website? Colors for my text, background, header, etc.
You can right click -> inspect element and look for the background color or use an extension like ColorZilla to detect it (I recommend using an extension to make it easy)
