Hello? I want to ask on how to coordinate design with service provider. What is a proper way to successfully accomplish project? Should I provide instructions to service provider or let him do the best he can?

@Scott Yes i agree but normal users will have a way more fixed mindset, since there are vector apps and raster apps there must be vector formats and raster formats. The fact that these intersect nicely in a venn graph does not compute to mere mortals who have spent less than a decade thinking about this. ;)

Well I think it is far more important to be accurate in this respect than it is to dumb down descriptions to inaccurate levels just to placate what users may already believe.

@Scott funny then we have dispense of the separation of formats :( Unfortunately humans need abstractions, even your abstractions suck from someone else perspective. But yes your right. But in that case you should not say PDF is not a vector format you should explain that vector formats dont really exist or mean what people think they mean.

Personally id been inclined to say PDF is a "vector format" BUT vector formats are super sets of All image formats that can display anything. DANG now Im shooting myself down because cad formats are vector and can only sometimes contain pictures... Crap…
