I've been collecting random songs for about ten years.

It'd be a lot more, but I'm somewhat selective.

that would mean you are at around 2500 hundred songs??

Not quite 5.4k songs.

Lots of unusually long ones.

But also a lot of SFX and so forth.

No, most of them are from friends' collections.

Usually picked up one at a time, not by album.

I do have a number of full-album soundtracks.

Ummm. Probably not.

It's exceptionally eclectic; the major unifying feature is "interesting lyrics and a good vocalist."

I just went from Kenneth Ray Rogers to Jem to Daft Punk to Irish Rovers to Loreena McKennitt.

Squirrel Nut Zippers and Bob Dylan, Maynard and Tom Lehrer.

And that's the ones I might reasonably expect someone to recognize.

Chameleon Circuit and Jack Wall and Dr. Kool have their place here too.

Basically if I hear something I like, I track it down. And my friends often recommend things.

You have no idea how hard it was to find even a half-decent track for Ballad of the Last Chance Saloon. (The full version is more than 10 minutes long.)

I'm not usually fond of their genre(s), but PMVs and bronycraft have warmed me to some of it.

I don't have a very good ear, and I'm very verbal, so good lyrics will easily make or break a piece.

Trite, repetitive, or unintelligible lyrics, or no lyrics at all, make a piece a harder sell for me.

This may explain why I like Bob Dylan so much.

Context can also count for a lot--I wouldn't be so interested in Ballad if it weren't the first song ever commissioned for a Doctor Who story.

could be, i guess for me its just that if we're going to leave those questions open we gotta allow them to be answered. which may mean its best to not leave them open at all

I think its a mod choice but in the end I dont think its right to allow one but not the other, know what I mean? Just because someone for Printing Blue wrote a crappy paragraph to go along with their company templates

Well theirs also states, "Or if you are looking to buy online presentation folders/ pocket folders printing" And I think the minute it says buy is an issue

so many different ways that question can go.. pro an con

I do commend shops that do that

it seems better when the question asks something else so that it can be answered and then people can also comment with resources without those being answers

but thats a hard thing to enforce

I think that was the purpose once for questions turned to wikis

trying to learn how to slow-mo a video, the tutorial im following wants 60fps but the only footage i have on hand is 29.97 fps. Im not sure if thats why it isnt looking right or what

we'll be renting equipment that can shoot 60fps but sorta learning as i go and want to make sure the plan i have is something ill be able to complete

tried to go to bed at 12 woke up at one, worked till 3:30 then woke up at 7

take 3 benadryl around 10 and you'll sleep like a baby
