The games never cared to explain that. Actually, the whole Black Rock Sword thing is a little unclear all around (and pretty ridiculous too, since basically you are wielding your own cryptonite in a way...)

When my group entered the mirror plane, the Chaotic Neutral cleric got a Lawful Good copy who teamed up with us, clued us in to the whole "homicidal clones who want to kill and replace us," and helped us defeat them before accepting his fate when we left at our destination.
@Polyducks Not usually, no. The big catch is, the relationship of the mirrors to each other in the hallways is constantly shifting. One minute you're in a hallway of mirrors in blue frames, the next it's mirrors that are reflecting murderers, and then it's mirrors in the city of Incep.

@Polyducks You could be the first druid to actually choose the... Skunk. You wouldn't be the optimal choice, but you will be remembered by your party, and even if you die in the end, the song of the "Scented Druid" will live onward.

2. Menchi is a dog in the anime Excel Saga. He is Excel's, the main character, emergency food supply in case she gets hungry, and unfortunately, Excel gets hungry a lot. Therefore, the creation of the ED, Menchi Aishuu No Borero, where Menchi begs not to be eaten by Excel.
you also get explained why the poor dog got that name.

@Polyducks there is a contradiction there. "Good" and "english dub" can't be used in the same phrase when talking about anime. It goes against the first rules of avoidance, also know as "this is Vegeta voice? really??"
