It's a halo product. The profit margins are probably slim or even negative at the low end of the options (after considering R&D), but more than large enough at the high-end to cover costs.

R&D is never cheap.

Seems my TV switches to Game Mode automatically with a console connected, but not with a laptop connected.

Actually, maybe it might be because the XBox runs on a lower resolution. Allows it to process in realtime with no buffer delay?

guys, big trouble, I made my dad upgrade to windows10, now when the laptop starts up, the screen remains black, but you hear the laptop 'working', nothing happens if I move mouse, what's goiong on?

I just see the Q (it's a compaq) sign, then black screen

ok I see something now, after having pressed multiple times the power button, but it took forever..

it does it on each restart (tested twice)

@crl You just have to be patient, especially if the laptop is really old/slow; it can take hours for the upgrade to figure out how to enumerate the graphics chipset and boot up.

That's pretty unfortunate

My stepdad decided to upgrade as well. He did something stupid which resulted in deleting the recovery partition.

Its bigger cause well, the physical space for the slots is still there, its less capable and maintainable cause there's no expansion slots available
