I don't know why this has -10, it's not a bad suggestion.
However it is not a new one.
For a long, long time people have suggested that certain tags which have a very high question count on other sites, generate warnings such as:
Hey! It looks like you're writing a letter!
No wait, let me...
if any part were damaged, it wouldn't work. I mean, there's no real way to damage a hard drive partially so that it works but is damaged. it's binary: either it works or it doesn't. if it had a problem it would probably make a noise.
Keep having problems getting everything to play nice and go fast.
Today I needed to take 40 GB of files from an old machine and stuff it in a new one. I had been using the external drive bay with the new machine at 3.0 after some fiddling around. So when I drove to the site to swap out the machines, I pulled out the old drive, shoved it in the bay, and went to transfer the files. USB 2.0. :| Windows keeps telling me to plug in to a SuperSpeed port, which it was. Dunno what happened.
