@ThaddeusB What timezone are you in? When do you usually visit the site?

12:25 AM
@fredsbend While you're at work, clearly.

@fredsbend Would you prefer that I watch my other favorite show, Star Trek: The Next Generation?
@LeeWoofenden Thanks. That still doesn't sound to me very different from a classical formulation of omnipresence. Do you have any insight into what I'm missing on that front?
Oh, it's the "continual creation" part, isn't it?

@Mr.Bultitude Make it so.

Which still sounds pretty orthodox to me.
@fredsbend :) Sorry, but I think I'm gonna do another Law & Order tonight.

Well, at least you won't be soaking up all the suggested edits.
@Mr.Bultitude I have Netflix, so I watch pretty much everything eventually.
Recently burned through a few seasons of The Office for about the 4th time.
They also have some great educational programs, like those from BBC and History Channel.

@fredsbend Check out Ken Burns' three-part series on Prohibition. Awesome stuff.

@Mr.Bultitude @LeeWoofenden I think I agree. I don't see why such nuanced differences are so important.

2:02 AM
A couple months ago I watched it while living with my brother, who has Netflix.

@Mr.Bultitude I just might. I recently have been watching Mankind and Human Planet. Great stuff. Though Mankind could be a little less focused on Man's conflicts and more on accomplishments.
I have to head out now. Was just popping in real quick.

@fredsbend "Time to make like a baby, and head out."

@fredsbend I prefer Biff's version, "Make like a tree and get out of here."

@fredsbend I'm on Eastern Time (UTC+5 officially, +4 most of the year). I typically get on early in the morning - around 10am - which is when most of my edits come in (due to many questions have changed since I last saw them). I then check after lunch, around 1-2pm. In the evenings, say 7pm-midnight, is when I have a chance to offer an in depth answer - a lot more effort, but as much to approve.

@Mr.Bultitude @fredsbend I was just saying what Swedenborg said on the subject. And since it was off-topic on the question itself, I was saying it here instead. How it is different from or the same as a classical formulation of omnipresence, I couldn't say. But I do suspect that the continual creation part is not part of the classical formulation.
@Mr.Bultitude If you've been rude, "Make like a baby and butt out."
Or as they say, "Into the breech I go!"

Q: That which is necessary is moral?

Red RackhamI asked "Would Christianity (in general) agree with “That which is necessary is moral”? [closed]" How can I better improve this question? This was well-received in Philosophy SE but not here. Say I ask about Catholic opinion. Will that work?

@fredsbend I've updated my meta post and answer; let me know if you think I'm still off base and would like to discuss

Q: Tagging: Matthew/Mark/Luke/John

ThaddeusBNathaniel's question has got me in a tag maintenance mood. :) One thing I noticed is that the tags for the gospel writers are inconsistent. We current have: matthew (unlabeled, but presumably for the person) gospel-of-matthew gospel-of-mark luke (explicitly for the person) gospel-of-luke joh...

@fredsbend I reviewed 15 suggested edits today. I like this game.

@Mr.Bultitude I thought of posting a screenshot of that and saying that I need to get some bear hunting supplies...

@Mr.Bultitude Let me know when you are done so I can answer questions again :)

A: Defense of ancient Enoch authorship

I am a scientist and have made totally different discoveries regarding ancient religion of which it may not appeal to Judeo-Christians whom I now consider mostly Luciferians. I do not care if I offend Satanists or Luciferians but believe that Christians are being deceive...

@El'endiaStarman Instead of hunting down a poor defenseless bear, perhaps you should focus on making sure suggested edits are properly secured.
Bears are actually fearful of society and will leave you alone if you stop smelling so delicious.
