@LeeWoofenden If I may second this notion. I don't think we need to be that strict. Christian art can be seen as a "Christian practice." And it certainly has a major role in historical and present-day Christianity. Heck, Christian art (and the iconoclastic movement) led to an ecumenical council back in the day.

@KorvinStarmast Questions about religious usage of art is fine, but not questions about art just because the artist was a christian, or just because the subject depicted is from the Bible. Christian art didn't lead to an ecumenical council, icons vs iconoclasm did.

@curiousdannii If the art is directly related to Christianity, I don't see why we shouldn't allow questions about it here. Also, though I'm not Catholic, I would observe that religious art generally plays a greater role in Catholicism, and I believe also in Orthodox Christianity, than it does in Protestantism. If we disallow questions about religious art, we'll be turning away a lot of potential Catholic and Orthodox users of the site.
