Greek influence has caused us to evaluate from the head what was intended to be evaluated from the Hebrew heart.

@Rick but only Greek thought would create such a dichotomy - so that's sort of a self-defeating argument
Not to mention, the Hebrew seat of visceral emotion was the kidneys (כְּלָיוֹת), not the heart. The heart for them represented both emotion(s) and thought (head stuff / לֵב)

It is interesting that you thought when I mentioned the heart I was speaking to emotions, when I was speaking of both emotions and thought as opposed to thought only.
