Undo fixed that yesterday.
Because you never needed to merge.

10:52 AM
We will need to once we enforce reviews to deploy once we open up autoflagging

Even for something as simple as blacklisting?

perhaps a better model would be to include the heuristics but only alert, don't autoflag
that way you can leave new stuff in testing for a while, and get real-world feedback on FPs etc
then an admin can merge to the active set once you have enough evidence

@Floern FR For your userscript: Do not count retracted / expired / disputed flags against the helpful percentage
E.g make the helpful percentage [Helpful Flags + Declined Flags] / [Helpful Flags]

@Magisch retracted and expired are already excluded, but why would you exclude disputed?
imho disputed != helpful

Disputed flags don't count against the flag ban.

helpful % on the site is (helpful / total) * 100, i.e. excluding disputed

@Floern cause disputed doesn't imply you misflagged something
only declined does

true for spam/abusive flags, I was thinking about vlq/naa flags
but I can change it if you want to

1:37 PM
Where do you normally see your helpful flag percentage?
i.e. without the wonderful new user script?

idk
I've always had another userscript for that
called "Helpful flag percentage"

nowhere, but other userscripts

My script for that is called "mental arithmetic".

ah, I think the other scripts ignore disputed flags too, so I will change it to keep it consistent

well yeah
Even disputed naa/vlq only means review outcome was different

@Cerbrus Doesn't look like it.

@ArtOfCode \o/
I'm a developer and I can't python \o/

@ArtOfCode: On the site: "When users sign up for autoflagging..." makes me think: how?

@Cerbrus There's a page on MS coded for that
You have to hand MS an API key for your account, so essentially ms can log in as you
(well, not login, but it will be used to cast flags in your name)
registration is currently closed

Ah, I see now

/authentication/status will let you authenticate with write access, then you go to /flagging/preferences and tick the box

I assume the keys are stored somewhere secure @ArtOfCode?

3:24 PM
@Magisch API write keys? MS database
so yes

@ArtOfCode assuming the registration is open, that is.

@ArtOfCode only undo has access to that directly, right?

Aye, which is currently isn't
@Magisch correct

I'll check back some time later :D

I have log access, but not console or DB access

3:26 PM
I trust undo with my write key, and you and maybe 2 or 3 other people, but thats where it ends

@Cerbrus there'll be a big announcement when it opens up

great :D
For now, imma get on the road.
ttyl

@Magisch Levels of permission go from Undo with direct server, database and console access, to Developer role on MS with log access.

since giving you my write key isn't that different from giving you my account password

Anyone below that doesn't get access to any server details.

3:27 PM
So only you and undo could currently see my write key if I entered it

there are three accounts with the developer role, two of whom are Undo and me, and the remaining one is the System account
@Magisch I don't even know if I could, actually. Only if it somehow turns up in a log.
Which... it might do, I suppose, in an auth callback, but I'd have to be quick to catch it.

Thats fine I know both of you well enough for that

o/ @M.A.R.

also, need to fix authentication anyway

Yeah, probably a good idea.
