I was once at a college for giving a talk for a two-day event. At night I tried using the internet, they had:

- keyword based blocking

- broken https (because of said keyword blocking)

- keyword blocking of the word "proxy" so people won't circumvent it

Turns out all they were doing was 'adjusting' the DNS to point to their onboard server, if you know your server IP you're good to go
