no kidding

depends on the behavior of the 18 year old. I have a lot of respect for you two.

@ArtOfCode well done. It's easy being nice to people, harder when you need to draw the line. Not easy.

@GregP the line gets clearer as the activities get more dangerous :)

Meta spamming has not (yet?) recovered from the rep>=2 requirement... For the last month, it's in the distant 12th place, far off its usual #5 spot. The new #5 (after the stable top 4 of SO/Drupal/SU/AU) is Information Security.

Never mind!
Minus is right after command, not parameter.

It can be after parameter, too. I tweaked parsing there a few weeks back to allow either option.
Placing - after command seems more consistent with the rest of them.

@Magisch yeah, that makes sense, I'll try fixing that in a minute

I started here in charcoal some 3 months ago
:D
I'm generally still a noob by SE standards, I don't even have a year in here

Meh, time doesn't count, nor does rep
It's the effort you put in to learn the system

Sad that moderation privs are tied strictly to rep then
In my current participation, I'll never get to delvotes or 10k tools, because I spend 90%+ of my time on here doing administrative things that give no rep

9:17 AM
@Magisch Well, then I think you should focus on the main goal of the website then ;)

@Magisch don't worry, I don't have them either

In the Meta.SE post about scaling close votes by rep I got a little sad

@Frank were you looking to get privs?

It could end up with me only getting like 10 or so cause my rep is close to 3000 (when you first get CVs)

For the site?

@Magisch weird

@ArtOfCode I think it has to do with the fact that being the last one to flag a post before it gets destroyed triggers an instant automatic page reload

Aye, possibly. Would have to look into it, but if it's sending the feedback correctly, it might be low-priority.

Yeah it is
Its just a red box, flags and feedback still work correctly

By the looks of it, you might need to make a github repo for the userscript, so we can properly report issues

12 hours ago, by ArtOfCode
Possibly, but that would require me to integrate with chat, which I'd rather not do if I can avoid it.

Woops, didn't see that

I could create a new write API route on metasmoke, and send the report through the websocket to Smokey... but we're talking a few seconds of latency there

I was just about to suggest that lol

We can use this script for only the !!/report command, however that is is still set to broadcast the posts to the SOCVR

except without the proper terminology
@Ferrybig do you have the link to the original repo/gist? (I don't want to install, just look)
@ArtOfCode when you issue a report command it already takes a few seconds to post the reports to chat

@FrankerZ Chat ids are different across domains so separate lists have to be kept just to check if a user is privileged on each chat domain.

I see

@ArtOfCode And me. :)

@hichris123 and him
I just went with the first two people I saw using this chatroom :)

There is an open pull request to add frankerZ to charcoal HQ privs list
Feel free to merge or close

Ah, screw it, I can't fix these tests. @undo you've got a metasmoke PR from me because it needs some checking, the tests fail miserably and I can't fix them :)

@SmokeDetector I'm sorta leaning towards n because he has another, genuine post
Can't find any personal corrections between them and the product either, and the product is free
@SmokeDetector n

I couldn't find any connections between him/the site

@ArtOfCode On that note anyways, NAA/Not NAA discussions are notoriously fickle, and invalidated feedback based on that feels pretty arbitrary. Maybe we can have some clearer guidance then the unclear and "depending on which mod looks"

when you forget to uninstall the old version

hehe

@angussidney so is that fixed now?

@AshishAhujaツ fixed? as in I only have one?

"at it " guidance usually given for using NAA flags

@angussidney no. The bug which prints the status of the smokey report twice. I reported it yesterday to art. So I'm asking is it fixed now?

Users of my Smokey Sidebar script: I've updated that, too, and put it in the scripts repo. Updating to the new version will get you auto-updates for anything new I put in, and will send your feedback through the API where it should be going. Repo.

@Magisch The problem there is NAA's themselves are pretty hard to call

10:57 AM
@AshishAhujaツ I didn't know about that bug, ask @ArtOfCode and he should know

@ArtOfCode Yes. I suggest not invalidating feedback based on non-clear NAA/sd F distinctions

Invalidated Feedback hurts quite a bit more then a declined flag in the grand scheme of things :p

@Magisch I tend not to anyway - I don't mind conflicted NAA and F feedback, it's the K/NAA or K/F conflicts I invalidate
I think, anyway

@ArtOfCode what does the smokey sidebar script do anyway?
