superuser.com/questions/1166348/how-to-subtract-year-from-date was just voted closed. All 5 votes were to migrate it to SO, which I thought automatically migrated it. However, it was simply closed. Just curious whether I was mistaken about the process.

The process likely auto-rejected migration because their SO profile is in poor standing

@fixer1234 Huh? it was migrated (7 hours ago).

@DavidPostill, yeah, I spotted that maybe an hour after asking the question. I guessed that either a moderator migrated it, or it's a 2-step process for the system--close here and then migrate, and there could be system reasons why the actual migration might be delayed a little. Normally it appears concurrent.

@fixer1234 I don't see anything odd in either of the timelines

@DavidPostill, interesting. The timelines could reflect rounding to the nearest hour, and the migration was less than half an hour later. Another possibility: it was actually almost concurrent but the status wasn't immediately updated on my machine. Normally, a migration appears to be instantaneous upon closure--the first thing seen when the question's status changes is migration. In this case, mine was the last of 5 migration votes, and the status changed to closed.
I asked the question here and later saw that the status showed that it had been migrated.

@fixer1234 Maybe a refresh of the question when it was closed would have shown the migration. I've seen spam questions that were closed and on refresh were deleted. There is a small window there ...

It could quite easily have been some caching artefact, I've seen something similar happen very occasionally...
But generally if it just says [closed] outright it means that they are question banned on the target site
