I have seen an answer here about 7-Zip's "ultra" compression, according to the user who "often compresses server log files" using the setting some files "fail to decompress". I can't find the source anywhere - can you help me?
I found the Q/A with Google (several times) and I'm relatively sure the question was popular. I do remember the exact wording.

Best I can find that vaguely relates to something failing to decompress is this comment: superuser.com/questions/281573/…
Seems to be talking about being able to compress with 7-zip, see the archive content in Explorer, but not being able to extract in Explorer. Extracting in 7-zip is probably fine.
