I’ve never done that
Sat 18:06
But I’m not sure hire edit band are triggered
Sat 18:06
Moderators can set the length of bans: it’s not fixed in advance
Sat 12:59
Length odd up to us when e w/e activate a ban
Sat 12:59
Yes bands are
Sat 11:15
A month would be a second offence
Sat 11:08
If the edits were inappropriate, eg changing the meaning of content, saying links that are not sensible, etc
Sat 11:06
They can see all mod actions and have more data than we do
Sat 11:05
If you have concerns, you should contact the network staff
Sat 11:05
You can’t: you can reply to specific mod messages, but there is no general direct messaging on the network.
Sat 11:02
specifics go via official moderation messages
Sat 11:02
You can, but anything about moderation has to be general

@peaR We are extremely unlikely to add any further argument specs
Fri 18:46
Also community topics show up
Fri 18:45
@John They do, but mainly if they are not something that would be better as a question, e.g. some announcement links, interesting TeX issues, etc. do get starred
Fri 18:45
@John Sure, non-targetted technical stuff is fine
Fri 18:44
@John No, just a typical English idiom
Fri 18:42
The point of a chat room is largely social - so technical stuff is more the exception than the rule
Fri 18:41
@John Pretty much par for the course :-)
Thu 19:15
@DavidCarlisle Yeah, I have seen - it depends on how you set up encoiding support I think
Jul 19 20:53
@mickep Yup
Jul 19 15:26
@DavidCarlisle Or the team plan: 'Get Joseph or Marcel to tidy up' :-)
Jul 15 07:35
@UlrikeFischer Indeed
Jul 15 07:34
@UlrikeFischer Yes, quite doable
Jul 15 07:05
@cfr, @DavidCarlisle (@UlrikeFischer) I'm not particularly pushing the current code: at present we are just working out how to make this all work
Jul 14 20:51
@Skillmon You going to take the font issue? I could assign to you :-)
Jul 14 20:49
@DavidCarlisle Anyway, the 'right' way to reuse graphical elements is Xforms anyway, so they are only in the PDF once ...
Jul 14 20:48
@DavidCarlisle But the same issue is true for any tagging, and that's the point of saying 'do not box up tagged material if it's used more than once'
Jul 14 20:44
@DavidCarlisle Talk to @UlrikeFischer abotu this - basically reusing boxes for anything that's tagged is a no-no
Jul 14 20:44
@Skillmon Yeah, we likely need some interface for PDF-based saving at some stage
Jul 14 20:43
@DavidCarlisle @cfr Basically it's all about tagging - images need to be tracked to be tagged, so anything where you put them in a box is an issue - it's not unique to l3draw
Jul 14 15:03
@HenriMenke Ah, yes
Jul 12 16:30
@John It's well established that vote numbers tend to reflect age of answers
Jul 12 15:36
@cfr I routinely use lualatex-dev, which is LuaHBTeX with the latex-dev format
Jul 12 15:36
@samcarter :-)
Jul 12 11:21
@MaxChernoff Quite, and I need to be CM-like
Jul 12 11:19
@MaxChernoff It's currently the best choice I can find for all-sans
Jul 12 11:17
@MaxChernoff It's just New Computer Modern loaded using fontspec, so any font issues are not my fault
Jul 12 08:30
@MaxChernoff In TLC3 Frank does compare it to the \documentstyle to \documentclass change :-)
Jul 12 08:30
@MaxChernoff :)
Jul 12 08:29
Jul 12 08:28
@MaxChernoff Yes, but @FrankMittelbach will now need to make an errata as we've made it more impactful

?
Jul 12 08:15
@UlrikeFischer Yup
Jul 11 13:56
@DavidCarlisle :-)
Jul 11 13:32
@cfr The point is that MathML generation is automated when tagging is turned on, compared with having to manually create the MathML - so definitely not 'manual'
Jul 11 13:28
@cfr It's more like the 2.09 to 2e 'automatic' changes - you need the marker line \DocumentMetadata{} in the same way to get a 2e document you need \documentclass not \documentstyle
