Apr 24, 2011 05:27
then all of a sudden, his name changed and all the flags and suggested edits rolled in.
Apr 24, 2011 05:27
I was just about to answer one of his questions too.
Apr 24, 2011 05:23
There goes the rollback war flag...
Apr 24, 2011 05:22
lol
Apr 24, 2011 05:22
@Sathya Go ahead and box @JourneymanGeek while were at it here. ;)
Apr 24, 2011 05:21
@Sathya I am getting the same errors.
Apr 24, 2011 05:21
He is doing a little more than that.. haha
Apr 24, 2011 05:20
@Sathya Yah, I noticed that too
Apr 24, 2011 05:19
@Sathya You see the new edits?
Apr 24, 2011 05:18
@JourneymanGeek Yah, I was in the middle about to respond to one, then all of a sudden, the edits started rolling, the flags...and then the aaaaaaaa
Apr 24, 2011 05:14
@JourneymanGeek I am looking at that right now.
Apr 24, 2011 05:13
@Sathya
Mar 4, 2011 08:55
@IvoFlipse Thanks for the laugh.
Mar 2, 2011 21:10
Take a look at question #104400 @Ivo
Mar 2, 2011 20:55
@Ivo i see what you did there
Mar 2, 2011 20:53
Later @KronoS
Mar 2, 2011 20:45
Perfect. I wouldn't mind people helping out like @Ivo said because it is less work. But, we also want to keep user content associated to the correct users.
Mar 2, 2011 20:43
Make sense what I said? I just wanted to make sure. Had to use iPhone to log into chat here.
Mar 2, 2011 20:42
@KronoS you around?
Feb 28, 2011 06:26
I ended up going with a CoolerMaster CM690 II Advanced
Feb 28, 2011 06:25
Nice @KronoS That was a case I considered recently.
Feb 28, 2011 02:08
Though my SU account took a good -637 rep. haha
Feb 28, 2011 02:07
Because of the scheduled global re-recalc, there should not be too many extreme changes.
Feb 27, 2011 22:13
@tintincute Oh, yah. Completely separate topic. Sorry if that mixed you up.
Feb 27, 2011 22:12
They are maintenance scripts that the Stack Exchange team have set up to run periodically.
Feb 27, 2011 22:11
@tintincute The stackexchange sites have a global wide reputation recalulation which makes sure everyone's reputation number are current and correct. I notice it ran recently because some of my reputation number changed on some of the sites.
Feb 27, 2011 21:57
Looks like the global rep recalc rolled through.
Feb 27, 2011 12:26
I back up a lot of stuff. Lots of Disk images, vm's I might create, beyond all the standard stuff. Also have a lot of stuff that is windows specific software, os x specific software, etc.
Feb 27, 2011 12:24
I have 2 - 2TB drives in a external Raid box, then 2 are in a pc.
Feb 27, 2011 12:22
Which was good, because about 4 months later, I lost one of my 500gb drives. Luckily, it was a backup drive. I buy every hard drive in pairs. If I upgrade to 2tb of data, I better have 2tb worth of backup potential.
Feb 27, 2011 12:21
and just broke down and went all out with my storage
Feb 27, 2011 12:21
I got really tired of hard drive juggling with data.
Feb 27, 2011 12:20
1 nice SSD will cost me the same amount it did to buy my 4x2TB setup.
Feb 27, 2011 12:20
@IvoFlipse If you got an SSD, you should be able to spring for a 2tb platter or two. ;)
Feb 27, 2011 12:18
Are we talking replacement or upgrading here?
Feb 27, 2011 12:17
They made them so you could upgrade those standard dell small ps's. I think they are kind of spendy though if I remember.
Feb 27, 2011 12:16
I can't remember off hand who they are though.
Feb 27, 2011 12:15
There are a couple power supply companies that make those specific dell PS's
Feb 27, 2011 12:06
I have wanted an ssd for about 6 months now, but I wanted to wait a bit longer to see if prices drop some and the initial reliability and long term performance data started rolling in.
Feb 27, 2011 12:05
I am not sure though what he can do much better than Tom's Hardware other then testing out some new models they might not have used.
Feb 27, 2011 12:04
@IvoFlipse I like to see all of the different file size performance numbers. But real world performance is much more useful to see.
Feb 27, 2011 11:25

Q: I've overwritten my Mac OS with Windows Vista, how can I get my Mac OS back?

SALEHI Was downloading a Windows Vista OS on my Mac and I accidentally deleted the Mac OS. How can I get my Mac OS back? Can I use the CD's accompanied with my MAC?

Feb 20, 2011 23:55
You think this is salvageable?
Feb 20, 2011 23:54
ok guys, I want your input
Feb 13, 2011 08:08
@IvoFlipse maybe you should take a break from the internet.
Feb 13, 2011 05:35
burnination has arrived...
Feb 10, 2011 10:29
There is a much better chance of the OP returning vs the answerer.
