How could someone ever consider such behavior anything but simply wrong? I regard myself as quite conservative, okay. But such behavior is beyond anything acceptable. This is not anything normal. I have a 7y.o. daughter and teach her that 1. she does not need to accept anything anybody is doing to her when she's not fine with that and 2. if the behavior continues, kick the shin of the other and tell him to fuck off. This and nothing else. I'm pretty sure that the behavior you describe is on the border to illegality in Europe. YOU DON'T HAVE TO ACCEPT THIS!

You miss the point. View it from another perspective: you have at least one employee that loves what she is doing RIGHT NOW. Do you see an issue in this?

@dan-klasson: SLAVERY was the word I had in mind all the time while reading this question. Is this a common practice in the US? Here in good old Germany you usually receive 120 days vacation in 4 years. Sick says not included, of course... Sickness is no vacation.
