Good morning
Sep 12, 2014 14:54
Found it, Micrometer
Sep 12, 2014 14:53
Name that tool: I'm looking for something that precisely measures the outside of an objects, not vernier calipers. I remember is looking similar to a c-clamp
Sep 10, 2014 20:33
(sigh)
Sep 10, 2014 20:31
ok, apparently teeth per inch
Sep 10, 2014 20:29
Thread Per Inch doesn't make much sense to me there because I'm finding kits with one handle but multiple different TPI number blade, can't think where it comes in
Sep 10, 2014 20:27
I've been looking at razor saws and wondering what the TPI is?
Sep 10, 2014 20:26
and of course I come here with a question
Sep 10, 2014 20:26
229 days since I've been here

Oct 16, 2013 17:08
Does the ingredients list pecan or pecans?
Oct 16, 2013 17:08
ah, ok. Most mixed nuts I buy ends up with 1 macadamia nut. I think it's a marketing idea to make you buy the more expensive ones
Oct 16, 2013 17:06
was the mixed nuts supposed to contain pecans?
Oct 16, 2013 17:05
it's like 1 onion ring in a order of fries, just enjoy it and shutup
Oct 16, 2013 16:27
I wish you could search Google Translate history to see what the original was
Oct 15, 2013 14:45

Oct 15, 2013 14:14

Oct 10, 2013 19:19
Is the tape on the tiles holding in the stragglers that didn't hold to the backing?
Oct 10, 2013 19:17

Oct 7, 2013 19:12

Oct 7, 2013 19:12
I have a ~100' pine leaning over the house. I paid for that sucker to disappear
Oct 7, 2013 19:11

Oct 7, 2013 19:05
decision-wise
Oct 7, 2013 19:05
I'm battling right now between having more trees or more grass/sun
Oct 7, 2013 19:02
I used the Circular saw last weekend, bought the pruning blades last week, and now just got the chainsaw. My yard is in terrible if I get mad.
Oct 7, 2013 19:00
I just bought chainsaw yesterday, used for $5 so once I get running I won't have to use my circular saw and Sawzall for trees anymore
Oct 7, 2013 18:59
Oh, I used that before. Had like .22 blanks
Oct 7, 2013 18:58
what is ramset?
Oct 7, 2013 18:56
is ramset nail and rivot guns?
Oct 7, 2013 18:53
When you got a hammer, everything you need to put in looks like a nail. When you got an engine hoist, everything you need to lift looks like an engine.
Oct 7, 2013 18:42
The engine hoist was tall enough so that the lift was near vertical, the amount of force it had capable was overkill but the technique was good.
Oct 7, 2013 18:36
@Aaron, yeah. I really like that product. It does what WD-40 should and doesn't cost a ton like mechanical grade stuff.
Oct 7, 2013 17:26
It looks like it is sitting in a metal drain pipe so it's most like rusted together by now. I'd try PB-rust buster and some heat before applying any type of force on it, twist or pull.
Oct 7, 2013 17:24
@Aaron I hate these grates because they typically get stuck like that. As your top picture illustrates, some types sit/seat inside the drain and you can't just pry them up because that would be at an angle. My dad got pissed at one and dropped in a bolt on the a chain and lifted it out with an engine hoist.

@JimmyHoffa It's a robotics tournament game board
Oct 4, 2013 21:39
Oct 4, 2013 21:38
My work has a pedometer program so I got alot of step with a reciprocating saw and some duct tape
Oct 4, 2013 21:37
@JimmyHoffa Plumbing, DIY project, etc.
Oct 4, 2013 21:05
It also works great for cheating on pedometers
Oct 4, 2013 21:05
A bit late into the conversation but I use my reciprocating saw for alot more than wood. I'll cut metal and PVC pipe pretty clean with it.
Oct 4, 2013 20:32
@NiallC. fine

Oct 28, 2013 20:57
Can I just auction off my vote? Who wants to come finish my room for me :-D
