Also, hi. Is anybody else self medicating with Animal Crossing in these chaotic times?
Mar 30, 2020 20:22
But I don't have that as an option in the queue. Is it better to accept an incorrectly categorized flag or to let a bad answer escape the queue?
Mar 30, 2020 20:20
I don't think I've ran into this before. There's an answer in the low quality queue. It should probably be deleted, but not because it's low quality in the sense that it is random letters smashed on the keyboard or other similar examples, but because it's not an attempt to answer the question.

@Stephie lentils are a top tier food!

@AIQ awesome! I'm into heat too.

Q: pink chicken meatballs

ThomasI am currently in a large city in Poland and there is a popular buffet type place that has chicken meatballs. When you cut them open, the meat is pinkish but the texture feels well cooked. I was always told that pink chicken is not right, but these guys are feeding hundreds of people a day and ...

I didn’t know it was possible to close a question as a duplicate of another closed question with no answers that was marked as a duplicate. It kind of hurts my head.
Nov 18, 2019 22:58
Haha :)
Nov 18, 2019 21:12
Also, I think I’m ready to lay bare my failure and share baking disaster photos.
Nov 18, 2019 21:10
@Stephie I am. I didn’t have a chance to read it closely but it definitely didn’t appear to be in good faith at first blush.
Nov 18, 2019 04:42
I agree that it seems strange at first
Nov 18, 2019 04:42
It’s interesting to hear about new kitty not wanting to hide a bit. I’ve definitely seen that personality before.

Nov 18, 2019 04:40
Oh no. I was busy with a tournament all weekend and I missed the most exciting trolling event to happen on this stack in recent memory
Nov 2, 2019 15:24
:P
Nov 2, 2019 15:06
@Stephie I doubt the fine folks at Scaled Agile, Inc. would agree with you!
Nov 2, 2019 14:49
Definitely in the "make sure you have an employer who is willing to sponsor it" price range for me, though
Nov 2, 2019 14:49
Maybe not blown away. I guess it's expected in tech.
Nov 2, 2019 14:49
Man, I was eyeballing a product owner job last year and I looked into some of the scrum training. I really like project stuff and product owner is a job I've done before but never in a dedicate role. I was blown away by how expensive those certifications are.
Nov 2, 2019 14:25
I've never really worked with hardware. Unless you count Lego Mindstorms :p
Nov 2, 2019 14:23
Exciting. I think testing is a really cool field (said few people ever).
Nov 2, 2019 14:13
I think my bread was some terrible combination of overproofed and underworked. I don't know. And now my starter is back to its sluggish ways again. I'll send pictures when I suck it up and stop being embarrassed about it. I'm also kind of preoccupied this weekend and my brain is in computer world instead of food world.
Nov 2, 2019 14:08
Yeah, it's been fun.
Nov 2, 2019 14:05
But no, the result of this exam wasn't a certification. I think it was more of a technicality to help them gauge the program effectiveness for next year and to comply with their accreditation requirements.
Nov 2, 2019 14:03
This press release has a quote from me about the whole thing. Basically I ended up in this cool competitive training program.
Nov 2, 2019 14:01
I keep trying to figure out where to start to explain what I've been up to, haha. This year has been a bit of a wild ride.
Nov 2, 2019 13:58
Hahah. More like it covered a lot of ground and most people would think it was pretty boring.
Nov 2, 2019 13:54
IT stuff.
Nov 2, 2019 13:53
So it was a low stress situation
Nov 2, 2019 13:53
The exam was part of a program I recently finished and it's more to help the organization gauge the effectiveness of the program, I think. So they can adjust for next year.
Nov 2, 2019 13:51
@Stephie I haven't taken the time to really troubleshoot the bread but it seems to me that there were multiple problems. Which is annoying because the dough felt really good. The exam was fine. The stakes were low for me and I performed as well as I expected.
Nov 2, 2019 13:49
@Stephie @Jolenealaska Pumpkin pie is just a delivery vehicle for whipped cream.
Oct 31, 2019 14:44
Bread fail. Mad about it. Off to take an exam. No time to be upset yet. Haha
Oct 30, 2019 18:35
:)
Oct 30, 2019 18:34
@rumtscho Yes it is. I am at once relieved and feeling kind of silly for being dramatic about it before. It can be difficult for me to let go and just wait for things to work out on their own time.
Oct 30, 2019 18:09
I will be thrilled if my result is half as pretty as yours. We will know in the morning!
Oct 30, 2019 17:10
It feels very good! Promising.
Oct 30, 2019 17:09
Alllllsoooo my little starter that had more faith in itself than I had in my ability has grown into a dough ball. Slapped & folded. Standing up to shape and get it into a basket right now!
Oct 30, 2019 17:07
@Stephie What an excellent problem to have! I am very jealous. I'd rather be processing mushrooms than sitting in front of a computer right now.
Oct 29, 2019 21:47
Depending on what kind of activity I see by this evening, I hope to be able to mix and shape tomorrow then bake early Halloween morning.
Oct 29, 2019 21:47
Sometimes life just hands us the correct circumstances, I guess. :P
Oct 29, 2019 21:23
Oh yeah, that's the good stuff right there.
Oct 29, 2019 21:17
Pretty
Oct 29, 2019 21:17
Thaaaaaat looks good. :)
Oct 29, 2019 21:16
@Stephie I'm more than happy to wield that kind of influence!
Oct 29, 2019 17:45
I switched over to 100 whole wheat instead of the 75. And I've been keeping it warmer.
